The customer flew all the way here to inspect the truck, took a walk around the warehouse, and placed the order on the spot.”

“After the inspection, we handled reconditioning and loading in one go — the truck had just started running when the customer’s next order for dump trucks came in again.”

1. What the Customer Wanted

The customer runs overseas transport business. Local construction materials and sand & gravel haulage work was picking up, his fleet couldn’t keep up, and he needed to buy trucks. New trucks were too expensive — not worth it. Used trucks, he was afraid of getting ripped off. The customer had just three requirements: the truck had to be in reliable condition, the price had to be honest, and it had to handle both long highway hauls and short site runs. After a few rounds of online talks, the customer took a liking to the ready-stock trucks in our warehouse and decided to come to Liangshan to see them in person before making up his mind.

2. The Customer Came to the Warehouse to Check the Trucks

When the customer got to our warehouse — man, there were rows and rows of ready-stock trucks parked inside, white ones, yellow ones, dark ones, laid out in sections. He could look at whichever one he wanted, walking back and forth through the workshop comparing them. Our people followed along as the customer went through the engine, gearbox, chassis frame, tires and cab one by one. He even started the truck on site, listened to see if the idling sound was right, ran through every gear to feel the shifting, and stepped on the brakes to check the braking response. After a good part of the day walking around, the truck had no issues — he locked in the deal on the spot. He also asked the price of that white-and-orange dump truck in the warehouse, thinking about adding it later.

3. How We Got the Truck Ready

Once the order was confirmed, the truck went into the workshop and got a full going-over to export standard:

  • Oil, filters, coolant — all fluids replaced with new ones;
  • Lights, brakes, air lines — checked and adjusted where needed;
  • Cab cleaned inside and out, tool kit and spare tire all in place;
  • Chassis number and engine number verified and recorded, full photos of the truck taken, and all documents for customs declaration and commodity inspection prepared in one go — so the customer didn’t have to run around for paperwork.

4. Loading and Shipping

Once the truck was all cleaned up and passed inspection, it was hauled to the port by trailer and loaded onto a bulk carrier. As soon as the sailing schedule was set, we told the customer right away, and kept him posted on where the truck was at every step. When the vessel reached the destination port, we handed over all the customs clearance documents, had dedicated people walk him through clearance matters, and also taught him how to do basic maintenance and how to troubleshoot small problems — the job wasn’t done until he picked up the truck and got it working.

5. How the Customer Likes It

The truck has been running steady since it went into service. The customer’s feedback: strong power, fuel consumption he doesn’t worry about, and spare parts are easy to find — no hassle on repairs and maintenance. He’s very satisfied with our one-stop service of “on-site inspection — reconditioning — shipment — after-sales,” and the next batch of dump trucks is already under discussion.
